Systematic Trading

Our systematic traders develop medium-frequency strategies that typically hold positions for minutes to days. This involves building mathematical models, analysing large financial datasets and developing and testing trading algorithms to spot profitable opportunities. At VivCourt, we’re dedicated to achieving high performance in our trading signals, algorithms, and infrastructure, and we're constantly refining our capabilities in this area.

Energy Trading

Our Brisbane-based energy team specialises in positional trading within the Australian and New Zealand electricity markets. Our teams conduct in-depth research and analysis on long-term trends like seasonal patterns, renewable energy adoption, infrastructure growth, and regulatory changes. By blending these insights, we stay ahead of market shifts and position ourselves to seize the best opportunities.

Market-making

Our market-making teams actively set buy and sell prices for financial securities on various exchanges, earning profits by managing the spread between those prices. We use sophisticated hedging techniques to safeguard our positions, while the fast-paced nature of this strategy demands quick decisions and flawless execution. Our traders are continuously fine-tuning their algorithms to enhance efficiency and keep markets running smoothly.
